Mark creates things that solve problems.

Sometimes, the problems are business-related: faltering demand, lackluster sales, damaged reputations. And sometimes, they’re societal: child marriage, vaccine inequity, malnutrition. Either way, Mark doesn’t shy away from taking on hard problems and tough briefs and distilling them down into clear, compelling ideas, concepts and messages that are impactful and actionable.

Mark also likes leading others who create things that solve problems.

As a Copywriter, Creative Director and Group Creative Director, Mark has created and led global brand campaigns for IBM, Absolut, BlackRock Securities, ExxonMobil, SAP, Motorola and a lot of other brands and organizations. But he’s also worked on a lot of smaller, scrappier projects with no budget, no time and just as much need to get noticed and move the needle.

Mark has worked at BBDO, Ogilvy, TBWA\Chiat\Day, McCann and Deutsch, and he’s freelanced for many other places, big and small. Lately, he’s been doing a lot of work for a social impact agency called WRTHY.

Mark lives in New York City with his wife, three children and two adopted street cats. You can reach him at 917.568.8156 or margira@gmail.com.

Below are a few of the brands, companies and organizations that have liked Mark’s work enough to approve it, produce it and put their media dollars behind it.
