A tiny sampling of what’s to come – and what’s already here – from IBM.

From a new chip that packs 50 billion transistors into an area the size of a fingernail to ships piloted by AI, IBM works on a lot of interesting things, and they create a lot of long-form content about their work. But there’s so much of it covering so many different areas of their business, it’s hard to sort through and ultimately doesn’t get a lot of views.

Running across paid social, reddit and IBM owned channels, Nibl is a series of short-form content created to get more eyeballs on a curated selection of IBM’s long-form content. The name Nibl was inspired by “nibble,” a tech term for half a byte.

The diverse illustration styles were a nod to a more editorial take on the subject matter, and stories were mapped out along an editorial calendar – briefing, creating, producing and releasing happened concurrently. Press releases, product launches and key case studies were some of the content woven into Nibl.
